Povlja is a small village famous for its quite and peaceful environment. A lot of families with children come to Povlja to celebrate their vacation there. Povlja has a lot stone beaches. One of them is located at Tičja Luka at a distance of 150 meters from Villa Renata. The other two are located at the seafront of Povlja. You can explore the bars of Povlja after having a nice swim at just 200 meters from the village center. Not only are there bars but also ice cream parlors and restaurants that serve local delicacies.
Is Povlja a little to small for you? No worries, Brač has to offer a lot more. From exploring the beautiful nature of the island to adventurous activities at Bol. Of course you will want to visit the famous Zlatni Rat beach. This beach is listed as one of the most beautiful beaches of the world. After all activities and sightseeing you will return quickly back (because everything is in a small distance from Povlja) to Povlja to relax in its quite environment.

travel by car
If you are travelling by car you will need to use the ferry boats of Jadrolinija to get to the island of Brač.
The main ferry port of Brač is located in the city of Supetar. Supetar is the largest city of Brač and is located at a distance of 52 km from Povlja. You will need to depart from the ferry port in Split to arrive at the ferry port of Supetar.
There is also a second ferry port located at Brač which is a lot smaller and can only let smaller ferry boats ashore. This ferry port is located in Sumartin. Sumartin is located at a distance of 9 km from Povlja. You will need to depart from the ferry port in Makarska to arrive at the ferry port of Sumartin.
